DR DAVID MANYA DOGO

Dr. David Manya Dogo is an accomplished public servant who retired from the public service after 33 years of meritorious service with the National Orientation Agency (NOA). He was a pioneer staff of the Directorate for Social Mobilisation (MAMSER) in 1987. At various times, He was Director, HRM; Director, Orientation and Peace Education (OPE); Director, Mass Mobilisation and Director, FCT Directorate of the Agency. He also served as Research Assistant to the Honourable Secretary for Agriculture during the Interim National Government in 1993 and to the Honourable Minister of Information and Culture between 1994 and 1995. Dr. Dogo served on a number of committees, the most prominent being the Presidential Technical Committee on Land Reform (PTCLR) from 2010 to 2020. Dr. Dogo holds BSc. Geography (1984) and MSc. Rural Development (1987) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and PhD Population and Manpower Planning (2019) from the University of Abuja. In terms of professional qualification, Dr. Dogo is a Member, Association of National Geographers (ANG); Member, Nigerian Economic Society (NES); Member, National Institute of Management (MNIM), Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) and Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
